PILOT DRILLS FOR HOLESAWS AND ARBORS

VIKING pilot drills are used for holesaws with built-in arbor and for arbors for holesaws. Pilot drills are available in 2 lenghts and 2 types e.i. HSS and Carbide Tipped.
The appropriate length is chosen as a function of the selected holesaw and arbor.
The appropriate type is selected based on the material to be cut, where the Carbide Tipped Pilot Drill is only used for cutting leca, soft aerated concrete and soft bricks. HSS pilot drills are used for cutting all other materials such as iron, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, wood, plasterboard and PVC.
